Susan Labhard, MSN, RN has worked at SHC-Portland for over 33 years and has been in the field of Pediatrics since 1977. She has been the Transitions Nurse Specialist for 15 years, heading the program to assist children through young adults in their transition to adulthood. She has a BS and MS in Nursing and a BS in Child Development/Family Relations.

Susan is a seasoned national/international presenter and has several publications on the topic of transitions and sexuality for youth with disabilities. Working with the Patient Care Team, Susan is enthusiastic about helping children and young adults with disabilities to maximize their potential and enhance their quality of life.
