Priti Shetty is the General Counsel for ICICI Bank UK plc. During the course of her 15 year career at ICICI Bank, Priti has overseen the legal function for the international segments of the bank, including its overseas banking branches and subsidiaries. Priti advises various Board constituted committees, including the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ICICI UK. Priti is an alumni of the Harvard Business School.

Douglas Robinson

Managing Associate - Simmons & Simmons

Douglas is a Managing Associate in Simmons’ Contentious Regulatory, Competition and Crime group and specialises in complex, high value, disputes including litigation, regulatory investigations and internal investigations.
He acts for clients across a range of sectors, notably in banking, investments, commodities, and fintech. Recent work includes acting for the defendant to a £1.5bn civil fraud claim in PCP Capital Partners LLP v Barclays Bank plc, for a claimant in SPAC litigation and for a firm subject to a regulatory investigation into fintech. Douglas is used to handling regulatory proceedings in parallel with civil claims and has spent time in-house in a litigation and investigations role for a leading global financial institution.
Douglas has a particular focus on fintech disputes and is a member of Simmons’ cross-border fintech group. He is also a member of the firm’s Race to Recovery group, focused on guiding clients through and beyond the COVID pandemic.

Matthew is a commercial litigator who specialises in advising UK corporates on shareholder and warranty claims, professional negligence, contractual disputes, defamation and financial services claims and pensions disputes.
This includes the execution and defence of search and seizure orders, including acting as the court-appointed supervising solicitor on the execution of such orders.
Matthew is head of Shoosmiths’ Leeds office and responsible for the firm’s contribution to, and profile within, the local business community.
