What are successful keys and strategies in finding qualified candidates? Human Resources Management and Services (HRMS) will be providing a briefing that showcases proven methods for quality, timely, and efficient candidate processing that you do not want to miss! During this breakout session, HRMS will deliver an overview of successful key strategies for finding qualified candidates during the hiring process. This overview will highlight the importance of accomplishing the mission by utilizing technology, cultivating staff skills, and building strong relationships with customers. Additionally, the presentation will detail the recruitment mechanisms to attract, attain, and retain a diversified workforce.

Following the HRMS presentation, the Office of Chief Security Officer, Personnel Security Division (PSD) will detail strategies to ensure that all potential DHS employees and contractors have been successfully processed through the security vetting functions each year. PSD will also present a high-level overview on the application of risk management principles in evaluating each applicant and employee in accordance with the adjudicative authorities for internal and external customers.
