Guillaume Caumon

Guillaume Caumon is the Nancy School of Geology professor in Geomodeling at Universite de Lorraine in France. In 2003, he was a postdoctoral researcher in petroleum engineering at Stanford and was an invited professor in geophysics at Colorado School of Mines in spring 2015. He is the Director of the RING Consortium, a joint industry program doing research for integrative numerical geology. His research concerns the development of new modeling methods and theories to assess and reduce subsurface uncertainty by integrating data, physics and interpretation concepts. He holds a PhD and Habilitation from INPL and received scientific awards from the IAMG, the SPE and the French Academy of Sciences.
