Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2022–23
IHPA recently published it’s Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2022–23 on 1 December 2021.
The Pricing Framework outlines IHPA’s policy decisions that inform the development of the National Efficient Price Determination and National Efficient Cost Determination for 2022–23, which are a major determinant of the Commonwealth funding contribution to public hospitals. Please join Joanne Fitzgerald (Executive Director, Policy and Classification at IHPA) to review the framework. Key discussion points are to include:
• response to the COVID-19 pandemic
• development of classifications, including new versions
• forthcoming work on safety and quality reforms
• progress future funding models.
