WEBINAR DETAILS
  • About
Join night Photographer Lance Keimig in this educational webinar as he describes how to use added light during twilight as an approach to controlling foreground and sky exposures during rapidly changing conditions.

Photographers often use a technique called “Blue Hour Blends” to deal with the problem of under-exposed foregrounds in astro-landscape photographs. Low-level Landscape Lighting is another approach to this challenging situation. In this informative webinar, Lance will present another option––one that uses traditional light-painting techniques during rapidly changing twilight conditions. The goal is to create a stunning final image from a single exposure that requires minimal post-processing.

Lance uses the Novoflex TrioBalance tripod.

Lance Keimig is best known for night photography made at the intersection of the natural and built environments. He’s been photographing primarily at night for the last 40 years, and is the author of two books, including Night Photography- Finding Your Way In The Dark which has been translated into 7 languages. He worked as an architectural photographer for many years, choosing the specialty because it was one of the only types of commercial work that provided opportunities to photograph at night. Keimig is a partner and educator for National Parks at Night, and has taught night photography and led international photo tours since 1998. His work is represented in the permanent collections of many institutional, private, and corporate collections.
