In this session, we will explore the benefits of focus stacking, especially how to properly avoid lens diffraction via much-too-small small lens apertures.
We will also compare two key tools: the CASTBAL-PRO bellows attachment and the BALPRO bellows unit, and discuss their specific applications. You'll learn when and how to effectively use each device for optimal results.
We will explore and explain the combination of the CASTBAL-PRO and CASTEL-MICRO. In this configuration the camera standard moves while the lens standard remains stationary, allowing for very small yet precise incremental movements in the rear and significant sharpness gains in the front. This setup is ideal for superior product and object photography up to a 1:1 magnification ratio.
Finally, for magnifications beyond 1:1 and larger we'll explain the benefits of switching to the BALPRO system, which allows for setting a fixed magnification ratio and moving the entire unit for adjustments.
Join us to enhance your understanding and skills in macro and product photography through effective focus stacking techniques.
