Finding a Health and Wellness Balance in 2021

About This Webinar

This past year has been no joke. Everyone is exhausted, stressed, scared, and uncertain of what the future may still hold. While there’s no magic to relieving physical and mental strains, we have to take the time to take care of ourselves and each other. This session isn’t about the latest yoga stretches we can do at work, its about acknowledging the turmoil we’ve been through and sharing some tips to try and find a renewed balance of health and wellness. You never know, you might just find the trick that works for you.

Presented in collaboration with the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART).

Chef/Owner, Mulvaney's B&L / Co-founder, I Got Your Back
A leading public policy advocate on the national stage, Patrick is one of the people working to make Sacramento the “Farm-to-Fork” capital of the country. The eclectic culinary creations at Mulvaney’s B&L are a direct reflection of his diverse background, which includes a European apprenticeship and experience in top New York restaurants before falling in love with Sacramento—and its year-round growing season—when he moved here in 1991.

Patrick founded I Got Your Back with his wife, Bobbin Mulvaney, as a promise to work together to support their peers and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health and related issues. Grief inspired the IGYB program after a sudden rash of suicides and overdoses in the restaurant industry hit Sacramento hard in late 2018 and early 2019. IGYB is converting grief and sadness into courage and optimism. I Got Your Back teaches employees to look for warning signs, creates acceptance and a safe environment to talk about personal crisis and provides access to resources for those struggling.
