Ms. Pihos is a vice president in the marketing department in the New York office and head of defined contribution (DC) participant engagement. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2018, she was a vice president at BlackRock, focusing on driving participant outcomes through engagement and serving several of BlackRock DC’s largest plan sponsor clients. Previously, she was the marketing lead for MetLife’s institutional annuities business. She has 20 years of marketing communications experience and holds an MBA from Baruch College. She received an undergraduate degree from Monmouth University.
Mr. Fulford is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office, an account manager and head of PIMCO’s U.S. defined contribution business. He previously served as the head of PIMCO’s public pension channel. He spent six years, from 2003-2009, in PIMCO’s London office servicing institutional clients. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, he worked on the municipal desk at Wells Capital Management and before that, as a civil engineer. He has 22 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Greg Bakke is a co-founder, CTO and the Managing Partner of Expand Financial, LLC. Prior to co-founding Expand Financial, Greg spent more than 12 years in senior management positions as Chief Technology and Chief Information Officers at First Trust Corporation, FiServ and Trust Company of America (TCA). Greg’s background includes over 20 years of experience in finance and technology.
Greg is a financial adviser who focuses his practice in the pension plan arena – including both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plan advisory services. After having spent a number of years building and managing “back office” technology infrastructures to support the financial advisory and administration businesses of his employers, Greg struck out on his own in 2009.
Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Business Administration (finance/accounting) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as a Masters of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Denver. Greg is FINRA Series 7 and 66 licensed, holds a Colorado State Life, Accident and Health Insurance license, and also maintains a certificate as a Global Fiduciary Strategist (GFS).
Greg lives in Denver and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and running.
