There is no such thing as an average learner. It’s a myth. Every learner is an individual who has a unique mixture of strengths, challenges, interests and aversions. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an approach to curriculum design that keeps this in mind and helps educators design learning experiences that remove many barriers to learning so that each individual has an equal opportunity to succeed. Technology is a powerful tool which can facilitate UDL and Inclusion.
In this session we will explore how UDL can shift our thinking about inclusive education and look at how technology can support this with some practical examples.
