About
As companies aim to keep pace with rapid advances in technology, IT leaders find themselves at the forefront in supporting the organization’s overall strategy, often taking on roles that extend beyond the server room. While technical proficiency remains critical, soft skills – or what we call “power skills” – have become a defining factor in the career trajectories of tech professionals.

IT leaders are now expected to adeptly lead teams through periods of transformation and potential conflict, all while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. In fact, according to Skillsoft’s latest IT Skills & Salary Report, one in five IT decision-makers mentions that power skills were the most important attributes of job candidates. Universal power skills, like communication, adaptability, teamwork and problem-solving, are the heart of effective leadership, enabling IT professionals to navigate more complex, cross-functional challenges that arise as they take on leadership roles within their organizations.

Join expert speakers for an invaluable discussion on the right blend of technical and power skills every IT leader needs to motivate their teams and deliver business results.
