As a previous NREMT-Advance Crew Chief on a 911 EMS service on the campus of the University of New Hampshire Bowmaster honed his leadership skills as a first responder, later attending the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Bowmaster’s career progressed to managing North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Puerto Rico with the Verizon Crisis Response Team where he led Verizon’s disaster response operations for a multitude of pre-planned events including two Super Bowls, presidential election cycles, and other events to crises events ranging from hurricanes, tornados, forest fires, cyber-attacks, manhunts, and the Surfside Condo Collapse. Bowmaster was a key leader in the first private-public-partnership publication of the ESF12 and ESF2 document to reduce fiber line cuts in disaster recovery operations that has been incorporated into multiple states’ disaster plans. An avid drone pilot, operator of his own company where he designs and builds incident command trailers, and candidate for his master’s in professional studies in Emergency Management, Bowmaster brings an invaluable collection of knowledge and network of innovators and leaders in public safety to Kymeta.
