Angela Vargo
Vice President Marketing, Communications and Brand Experience, Breeze Airways
Angela Vargo serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Breeze Airways.

Angela has more than two decades of experience in aviation starting in 2002 with Southwest Airlines where she held several positions across communications, marketing, and product development, including spearheading the development of the industry’s first satellite-based WiFi platform and introducing “TV Flies Free”, giving customers access to live streaming sports, news and other television content from their personal devices.

Prior to joining Breeze in 2021, Angela spent four years crafting brands and experiences within the private aviation sector first serving as Director of Brand Communications for Surf Air and then as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Dallas-based JSX, rebranding the semi-private carrier from JetSuiteX to JSX (Joyful, Simple, Experience) and coining the term “hop on jet service”.

Angela was recruited by Breeze in March 2021 and introduced the industry’s first “Nice Low-Cost Carrier” to the world two months later. Today, Angela oversees brand strategy, performance marketing, product experience, communications, and loyalty at Breeze. Her recent accomplishments include launching the airline’s first co-branded credit card in March 2024 and introducing Breeze Ascent™, the airline’s signature onboard experience across its brand-new fleet of A220-300 aircraft.

Today Breeze has welcomed over five million Guests and grown to nearly 70 destinations and 220 routes, providing efficient and affordable air travel from underserved markets to highly desirable destinations across the U.S. The premium leisure carrier has been ranked as a top 5 “Best Domestic Airline” by Travel + Leisure for three years in a row and was awarded “Best Seat Comfort in North America” by APEX in June 2024.

Angela also serves as the executive sponsor for Breeze’s culture committee and proudly lead the certification effort for Autism Double Checked, making Breeze the first domestic commercial carrier to earn this special designation.

Angela is an advisory board member for Global Connected Aircraft Summit and Cookie Dough Bliss. She is a former board chair of the American Red Cross, Southwest Region, a 2023 American Marketing Association “Marketing Maverick”, and was awarded the coveted Southwest Airlines Presidents Award in 2009. Angela is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the proud mom of two teenage boys.

Alejandro Ochoa
Head of In-Flight Technology, Aeromexico
Alejandro Ramirez Ochoa is Aeromexico's In-flight Technology Manager, in charge of technology and strategic projects in the airline as well as the entertainment and connectivity areas.

Alejandro has 12 years of experience in aviation, starting in 2012 with Aeromexico, where he held various engineering positions, in charge of the B-777 fleet maintenance program and then in charge of project engineering, developing the configuration and product design of the 787-9, 737-8 MAX and 737-9 MAX fleet.

He was also a consultant to the Mexican Air Force (FAM) on a Maintenance Manual project for the FAM Aircraft Fleet.

Alejandro and his team led Aeromexico to win in the ‘Best In-Flight Innovation’ sub-category of SkyTeam's Sustainable Flight Challenge 2023 thanks to the ‘Bluetooth Connection’ initiative. This achievement positioned Aeromexico as the first airline in Latin America and within SkyTeam to offer this in-flight solution. Also during February 2025, Aeromexico received the ‘2025 APEX Best Entertainment in North America’ award, and for the second year in the Skyteam 2024 aviation challenge, won the ‘Best Scalable In-flight Solution’ category, thanks to the innovative Bluetooth initiative in the entertainment system.

Aeromexico was awarded the On-Time Performance (OTP) 2024 award for global airlines by Cirium, a global leader in aviation analytics, marking an important milestone for Mexican aviation as the first Mexican airline to receive this prestigious recognition.

This February 2025 we announce that Aeromexico has selected to retrofit its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet with Viasat's state-of-the-art in-flight Wi-Fi solution. The fleet consists of 17 aircraft in total, including eight B787-8s and nine B787-9s.
