5G technology has been primarily driven by the commercial sector, but the defense sector can benefit from key advancements such as improved data rates, lower latency and the much higher density of connected devices. However there are challenges around security, spectrum co-existence and risks in the supply chain. In this e-seminar we’ll take a look at the background to 5G, its major benefits and features and how those can be exploited.

Jonathan is currently Director of High Tech Industry Enablement at Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA. Previously he has held leadership positions at a high tech Silicon Valley start-up company and at CST where he looked after North American sales prior to its acquisition by Dassault Systemes in 2016. Jonathan has an engineering background in electronics and electromagnetic simulation and holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering.
