About
In 2025 and 2026, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act will mean that there will be new identity verification requirements for all directors and persons of significant control (PSCs) for new incorporations and existing companies.

This will be one of the most significant shifts in regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements in recent history.

This will mean extra work for accountants, both for new and existing clients, and you need to make sure you have systems in place, both to meet the new rules and also to ensure you charge correctly for the time you take making sure your clients are compliant.

In this on demand AccountingWEB webinar, in association with GoProposal by Sage, we discuss what the changes will mean for your practice and how you can ensure you are ready for the impact it will have on your firm. Jake Smith from AccountingWEB is joined by experts David Winch, director of MLRO Support Ltd, Danielle Fisher, product manager from GoProposal, and Jordan Smith, operations director at AG Smith & Co.

We cover:

- The changes that will affect your practice
- How to ensure you get all the correct information from your clients
- How to charge for the additional work required.
