Flying into the Future with Safety-Critical AI Capabilities

Debbie is an accomplished Systems Engineering leader with more than 30 years of practical experience in developing and delivering products in a variety of markets, including scientific instruments, consumer electronics, digital broadcast systems and tactical radio systems. Since joining Intel’s Federal & Aerospace business unit, she has been leading the drive for expanding Intel’s market presence in the aerospace business and she is the product owner of the Intel® Airworthiness Evidence Package. In her spare time, Debbie is a competitive curler and indoor formation skydiver.

Neil Stroud joined CoreAVI in November 2020 as the VP, Marketing & Business Development. He has spent over 25 years in the semiconductor industry in technical, commercial, sales and strategy roles. For the past 15 years Neil has been an industry leader in the functional safety domain working closely with the ecosystem, customers, and partners across the automotive, industrial, avionics and transportation segments to build a safer world.
Neil has held various positions in world class corporations including Samsung, NEC, PMC-Sierra and Intel. Immediately prior to joining CoreAVI, Neil worked at Arm, during which time his roles included Senior Director of Technology Strategy where he led a team focused on functional safety, security, machine learning and real-time compute for the automotive and IoT business unit. Most recently, he had been leading the activities in industrial automation, robotics and industrial IoT.
Neil studied Electronic Engineering at Leicester Polytechnic and has spent time living in the UK, Germany, Sweden and most recently the United States.

Ian Ferguson is the VP of Marketing. As such, he is responsible for all aspects of the outward-facing presence of Lynx Software Technologies to its customer, partner, press and analyst communities. Ian is also responsible for nurturing our partnership program to accelerate our engagement in mission-critical systems. Ian spent nearly eleven years at Arm, where he held roles leading teams in vertical marketing, corporate marketing and strategic alliances. Ian is a graduate of Loughborough University (UK) with a BSc in Electrical and Electrical Engineering.
