we are delighted to invite you to our webinar on patient management in Hymenoptera venoms allergy. This session will delve into the critical aspects of patient care, focusing on the management of Hymenoptera venom allergy and anaphylaxis from the initial emergency room encounter to allergy diagnosis and treatment.
The webinar will be moderated by Prof. Lene Heise Garvey, an expert in emergency care and anaphylaxis management. She will set the stage by sharing case study of a patient experiencing anaphylaxis upon arrival in the emergency room.
Prof. Biló will then explore the nuances of emergency admissions, including the measurement of tryptase levels and subsequent diagnostics for venom
allergies. Her discussion will cover component testing, species differentiation, and the confirmation of anaphylaxis.
Following this, Prof. Wedi will provide insights into patient management, focusing on venom immunotherapy (VIT) evaluation, prescription, and administration. She will also discuss the duration of therapy and offer strategies to advise patients on preventing future anaphylactic episodes.
Join us for valuable insights and discussions.
We look forward to your participation!
