Intelligent use of student data is critical in driving school improvement.
Within the OFSTED framework, the impact of the curriculum and its implementation can be evaluated in terms of both student attainment and progress.
The first part of this session will provide an overview of how the new Alps Connect platform will enable school leaders to analyse the key KS4 Performance measures including Progress 8, Attainment 8, EBacc average point score, and the percentage of students achieving 5+ in both English and Maths. Using the Alps Connect software our Alps Education Consultants will demonstrate how school leaders can quickly analyse key data sets based on key performance measures and identify key groups of students for intervention.
In the second part of the session, Jevon Hirst and Sue Macgregor will then discuss how the Alps value-added approach can be used effectively to track student progress whilst also exploring how the analysis can be used to drive whole school improvement through the development of curriculum intent and classroom practice.
