In the 116th Congress, Rep. Loudermilk serves as a member the U.S. House Financial Services Committee, is the Ranking Member of the committee’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence, serves on the Committee on House Administration, and the Joint Committee on the Library. Barry also serves as a member of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), a conservative caucus of House Republicans. Before being elected to Congress in 2014, Barry Loudermilk was a small business owner for over 20 years. He also served in the Georgia State legislature for nine years. A Georgia native, Rep. Loudermilk holds an Associate Degree in Telecommunications Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education and Information Systems Technology. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years in the intelligence and technology and fields. Loudermilk is the former owner of an information technology services business, and is an author, historian, and motivational speaker. Barry and his wife Desiree have been married since 1983. They reside in northwest Georgia and have three grown children and four grandchildren.

Tom Bevan is the co-founder and president of RealClearPolitics. In addition to overseeing the editorial staff and writing regular features for RCP, Tom’s work has appeared in numerous publications and he is featured frequently as a political analyst on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and the BBC.

Tom hosts a weekly radio show on politics on 89 WLS in Chicago. He is also co-author with Carl Cannon of two eBooks on the 2012 Election: "The Battle Begins" and "A Time for Choosing."

Matt Schlapp is the Chairman of the American Conservative Union, the nation’s original grassroots conservative organization. During his five-year tenure as chairman, ACU has almost tripled in size, expanded CPAC to reach 25 million live viewers and 1 billion Twitter impressions at the most recent CPAC. ACU also hosts dozens of additional events, including Battleground CPACs in the US and international CPACs abroad.
 
Schlapp worked as a Regional Political Director for George W. Bush’s 2000 campaign in Austin, Texas, including the duration of the Florida recount, and served as the White House Political Director during the president’s re-election.
 
Schlapp’s congressional experience began during the historic Republican wave of 1994 in which he served U.S. Representative from Kansas Todd Tiahrt (ACUF Lifetime 98%) eventually as Chief of Staff.
 
Schlapp is co-chair of Catholics for Trump, a regular commentator in media and has been a contributor to The Hill.
 
Schlapp is a member of the Order of the Knights of Malta and serves on the Board of Governors of the Boys and Girls Club of America. He is a graduate of University of Notre Dame, where he started a conservative student magazine, and earned an M.P.A. at Wichita State University.
 
Matt and his wife Mercedes have five young daughters and are parishioners of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

Ian Walters is the ACU Communications Director. He is responsible in large part for CPAC’s rise as an important voice for conservatism throughout the past two decades. He met his wife--CPAC & Events Director, Carin Walters--at CPAC 2009. He is the father of two wonderful daughters and is an accomplished working musician.
