COP29 extended negotiations resulted in increased funding for developing countries to combat and adapt to climate change, though responses were mixed. Join our global experts for a roundtable discussion, including a Q&A session, about the next steps and the impacts and opportunities for the private sector and our industry.
COP is an annual global event where countries and stakeholders assess worldwide efforts to limit global warming and mitigate future climate crises. The event attracts representatives from almost every country, making it one of the largest and most crucial international conferences on environmental issues. The private sector's involvement is growing each year.
This is the second year Inogen Alliance has attended and presented at COP events. A distinguishing factor for us is our local offices and connections in these locations, including our Associate Sustainera Solutions in Baku, where COP was held. With local business sponsorship, we presented at six panels and events in both the Green and Blue Zones with seven Associate companies from Azerbaijan, Egypt, the UK, Hungary, New Zealand, Brazil, and the US. Our team members held official negotiation roles, providing insider perspectives (read more in their bios!).
This webinar will cover:
• Insider understanding of COP events and outcomes
• Insight into the private sector's role and future opportunities
• Open discussion and Q&A about the path forward
Join us on Wednesday, January 15th at 9am CST / 3pm GMT / 7pm Baku / 12pm BRT / 4am NZDT for this discussion.
