She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with a concentration in biology as well as a master’s degree of business administration (MBA) with a concentration in organizational leadership. Al Capps has 14 years of experience in the field of health & safety. Kara Van Blarcum is a Senior Professional with more than fifteen years of environmental compliance experience. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior and a minor in Economics.

Kara has been engaged in various environmental and health safety projects. Her work has included EPCRA reporting, air permitting, hazardous waste management compliance, environmental due diligence assessments, stormwater and erosion control inspections, spill prevention plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, greenhouse gas reporting, and environmental, health and safety compliance audits. She is currently a member of the Antea Group’s Waste and Material Management, Water Management, and Training Service Lines.
