Increase knowledge of the foundational tenets of the Indigenous Restorative Practices model and processes pre-incarceration, during incarceration, post incarceration. To increase knowledge on the application of the Indigenous model of Restorative Practices in working with clients to develop strength based reentry plans that result in improved lifestyle choices and motivation to participate in community supports and programs. Lastly, to increase understanding of the utilization of the Indigenous Model of Restorative Practices as an alternative paradigm to increase family and community engagement support for reentry clients.
