Alkaline water-based cleaners are widely used for pre-treating industrial metal surfaces. They're popular across various industries and applications, often used as the initial step in metal finishing to remove organic and some inorganic contaminants, ensuring subsequent process stages work effectively.

However, these cleaners can be improved, particularly to reduce their environmental impact, including their carbon dioxide emissions, and to improve their cleaning efficiency. Additionally, there is a wide range of processes tailored to different metal cleaning needs, substrates, cleanliness requirements, mass production pressures as well as compliance and operational restrictions, prompting a shift towards cleaner modernization.

By embracing innovative formulations, addressing identified challenges, and harnessing advanced technologies, the cleaners' portfolio undergoes continual evolution, catering to diverse applications while minimizing environmental impact and optimizing performance.

In our webinar, we will discuss the key criteria and challenges associated with soak cleaners in today's context. We will demonstrate how modernizing the concept of soak cleaners can lead to more effective cleaning solutions while also minimizing their environmental impact.

Topics covered:

• Basic overview of soak cleaner composition
• Considerations of typical components in soak cleaners & operating conditions
• Testing efficiency and capabilities of soak cleaners
• Details of the ‘Cleaners Toolbox’ concept
• New soak cleaner developments & benchmarking results

Join this webinar to discover the advantages of modernized soak cleaners and the most recent process advancements.
