AUSA’s Hot Topic series educates and informs the public on new issues, projects and programs while connecting industry partners with key Army decisionmakers. The one-day educational and professional development symposium consist of panel discussions, focused on specific themes, provided by the host Army Command.
Scope: This event will include more than 150 government, military, and industry professionals, as well as senior-level executives from U.S. Army and industry partners. Government and military attendees will include key leaders involved in the research and development, procurement, sustainment, and training processes within this scope, and other leaders in the conceptual development of multi-domain operations.
Objective: To provide a comprehensive understanding of the critical roles that offensive and defensive ground-based fires play in all-arms maneuver operations, emphasizing the necessity of achieving local fires superiority to enable joint freedom of action across the battlefield. This one-day symposium will highlight the integration of ground-based fires within the broader context of multi-domain operations; additionally, it will underline their importance in ensuring operational success.
