AUSA’s Hot Topic series educates and informs the public on new issues, projects and programs while connecting industry partners with key Army decisionmakers. THEME: The cyber domain and information dimension comprise the most contested areas in today’s security environment. Information is an instrument of national power, and social media has become a common tool for using information to a state’s advantage. Join us as we discuss how information influences global affairs, and how to best to employ modern technologies to seize the initiative in the information dimension. We’ll discuss the ubiquity of information access and surveillance that has led to unprecedented battlefield transparency, causing combatants to rethink their signatures, survivability, and operational security.
