Ms. MacDonald is Chief Investment Officer at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment research, asset allocation, and portfolio management. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Leadership Council. Previously, she served as Chief Investment Strategist and led a regional team of client and wealth advisors.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2015, Holly was Managing Director in Emerging Markets and Global Currency Strategy at J.P. Morgan, where she led investment strategy teams.

She is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets. She also serves on the YAI Board of Trustees.

Holly earned an M.B.A., with honors, from Columbia Business School and a B.A., magna cum laude, in philosophy with minors in finance and Spanish language and culture from Princeton University, where she ran Division I track and cross country.
