Angela Nagy is the CEO of GreenStep Solutions, a Kelowna-based company that has provided sustainability consulting through the development of strategies and industry specific programs for thousands of small and medium sized enterprises since 2008. Through their Sustainable Tourism division, Angela and her team provide solutions that help tourism destinations and businesses to measure and improve their sustainability performance, including sustainability strategy development, sustainable tourism assessments and certifications, eco-funding, consulting, training and workshops, and carbon footprint measurement.
Genevieve Huneault

Genevieve is a regenerative tourism specialist with a long-standing commitment to social and environmental justice. She has over 10 years of experience integrating sustainable tourism systems with specialties in Indigenous tourism, gender & outdoor recreation, regional food systems management, and community-driven tourism development. Genevieve has worked closely with non-profit organizations, governments, entrepreneurs, innovators, and social enterprises across Canada and Internationally to integrate regenerative practices across their work. Genevieve holds a Bachelor’s of Tourism Management from Vancouver Island University and a Master of Arts in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia.
Kalani Ka‘anā‘anā
Chief Brand Officer, Hawai‘i Tourism Authority
Kalani Ka‘anā‘anā is the Chief Brand Officer of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA). HTA is the State of Hawai‘i agency responsible for providing comprehensive management of tourism for the Hawaiian Islands. Its goal is Mālama Ku‘u Home (caring for my beloved home) through regenerative tourism, which empowers the community to have a voice in tourism’s future, restores the environment, works to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture, recognizes Hawai‘i’s multiethnic cultures, and supports responsible economic growth.
Ka‘anā‘anā is responsible for overseeing HTA’s various initiatives outlined in its 2020-2025 Strategic Plan in the areas of community empowerment, stewardship of the Hawaiian culture, preservation of natural resources, and brand management. He joined HTA in 2016 and most recently served as its director of Hawaiian cultural affairs and natural resources.

Stéphanie began her career 40 years ago after completing a degree from University of Montréal. Throughout her travel career, Stéphanie’s responsibilities included Director of Marketing, Director of National Accounts, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Holiday House and Vice-President of the cruise Division for Thomas Cook Canada and Vice-President of Encore Cruises to name a few. Today, Stéphanie’s mandate at Globus family of brands is to support a hands-on change management process, develop a learning culture, and orchestrate the company’s ongoing growth strategy in Canada. Born and raised in a small town South of Montréal, Stéphanie lives in beautiful Oakville, Ontario.
