The CARES Act was passed in response to the devastating impact the coronavirus has made on the U.S. economy. The goal of the act is to provide funds to companies in an effort to help them maintain their payroll and inject liquidity into businesses during this difficult time, among other things. But how exactly will the program aid CRE?
Since the release of the program, Real Estate Roundtable CEO Jeff DeBoer has been working with property owners, lenders and tenants to unpack the implications of the package and advising on how to best navigate these challenging times. DeBoer has been involved in national policy affecting the industry for more than 35 years and has discussed issues involving real estate on FOX News, Bloomberg Television, MSNBC, and CNBC. The Real Estate roundtable, too, has been working tirelessly to provide resources for the CRE community, as well as advocating for the business community at large in front of Congress and government officials.
Bisnow welcomes Jeff DeBoer to unpack the Stimulus package with us and what it means for CRE in the near, and long, term. Can't attend the live session? Register anyways! A recording will be sent 24 after the live webinar. We hope you'll tune in!
