Software Engineer

Onimisi Ayira is a skilled Software Engineer at PocketHealth, where he has been deeply involved in the platform team since May 2023. In this role, Onimisi assists product teams in troubleshooting infrastructure errors and making design decisions that enhance reliability, security, privacy, observability, and scalability. One of his notable projects includes designing and integrating a malware scanner into a high-volume data system.

Onimisi holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Computer Science from the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a minor in Mathematics. He also attended the University of Alberta for a year before transferring to the University of Toronto Mississauga.

She has mentored at MIT Hackathons and evaluated digital health innovations and startup pitches.
