ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
We are excited to announce that this year’s (2022) MasterChef Semi- finalist Olayemi Adelekan will be joining us for an evening of Nigerian foodie webinar chat on 29th September at 7pm.
Olayemi will be chatting about her Yoruba dishes and her MasterChef journey. She has lived in cities in Nigeria, including Lagos, and in the Caribbean, on the Island of St.Kitt and Nevis, which has influenced her style of cooking. She now lives in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Looking for a new challenge to champion traditional Nigerian ingredients and cuisine, Olayemi took on the MasterChef kitchen reaching the semi-finals with Nigerian inspired dishes.
Join Olayemi and CAFOD to hear about her culinary influences, why she decided to take on MasterChef, the place that Nigerian cooking and food has in her family, community – the customs and traditions, and the role that faith plays in her daily life.
Olayemi Adelekan is a UK based Personal Chef and home cook.
