The Cardinal has often spoken about the complex and challenging world that we face; conflict, climate change, food shortages, as well as the deep hurt caused by inequality, discrimination, and racism. His words over the years have inspired and motivated the Church and its people of faith to reach out in Christian love, dignity, and respect to those most vulnerable in our global communities.

Against the backdrop of global, social, and cultural upheavals of our time, Cardinal Tagle challenges us to do everything we can to be the light and goodness of Christ in our world today, by becoming active agents of change and bearers of the Good News to all who we encounter.
