Understanding Cannabinoid Research

About This Webinar

As legal access to cannabis and hemp expands, so does the ability to research its many active compounds. Modern science is finally starting to gain the resources, tools, and permission to validate the therapeutic benefits that people have long experienced, and explore the next frontier of applications.

But as research starts to surface, it can be hard to bridge complex scientific findings with real life implications. How can we go beyond headlines, to understand the bigger picture of cannabinoid research and navigate what are credible advances vs hype and buzz?

In this session, we will be speaking to cannabinoid therapy educator and expert, Mary Brown, who has spent over a decade working at the intersection of clinical cannabinoid research and patient responses to cannabinoid-based medicines.

Agenda
  • Types of existing cannabinoid research
  • What to make of recently published OSU findings
