About
Please join the West Cook Coalition (WCC) from 12-1 p.m. CST, Tuesday, September 28, to discuss the challenges and assets in Berwyn, Cicero, Summit and targeted suburbs within the Proviso and Leyden townships. WCC is a group of several West Suburban Cook County organizations led by Loyola Medicine, Pillars Community Health, and CareAdvisors. The local organizations include:
Access to Care
Healthcare Alternative Systems
Housing Forward

Hosted by the WCC, the virtual event will feature a brief overview of the goals of the initiative, how it will impact the community, and share insights from community leaders. We will be discussing housing, food access, transportation, chronic disease, and behavioral health. This discussion will inform the development of a program for our most vulnerable residents with funding from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) Healthcare Transformation Collaboratives. Your input is vital and will be solicited during the hour-long session.
