Inspired fiction is an ideal not only for producing great literary works but also in sharing the faith (explicitly or implicitly) with readers. In my own writing, I incorporate various biblical themes or topics into my fictional stories, I’d love to share tips and tricks I have learned for how to successfully and artfully interweave biblical elements into fiction writing.

Allison Gingras is a Catholic social media consultant and the host and creator of the podcast A Seeking Heart. Gingras developed and acquired six volumes in the Stay Connected Journals for Women series and wrote two—The Gift of Invitation and Seeking Peace. She is a contributor to a number of books, including The Ave Prayer Book for Catholic Mothers, Called by Name, and The Catholic Mom’s Prayer Companion. Gingras has been featured on a variety of Catholic television and radio programs and podcasts. Allison Ramirez has her bachelor’s in English (Creative Writing) and her master’s in Theology (Church History). Allison spent the last four years in archdiocesan and parish ministry, recently making the leap to pursue her writing and editing fulltime. She has authored three books: a devotional journal on the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary and two dystopian novels. Allison lives in Washington State with her husband, Nathan, and their pug pup, Leo.
