Dr. John Stumbo
President - The Alliance
Dr. John Stumbo is serving in his third term as president of the U.S. Christian and Missionary Alliance. He and his wife Joanna have been married almost 40 years, have three grown children, and five grandchildren. A pastor and ultra-marathon runner, life suddenly changed for John in 2008 when a mysterious illness left him hospitalized for 77 days and unable to swallow for eighteen months.

After a true miracle occurred, John was able to re-enter ministry. This story is chronicled in his book, An Honest Look at a Mysterious Journey. John has also authored three other books including his newest one on the churches of the New Testament: A Stained Beauty: Churches Ancient and Present. He loves being with the Alliance family—from teams on the field, to church leaders and congregations here in the States, to the great National Office staff. John and Joanna are enjoying making Ohio their new home as the National Office relocates to the Columbus region. John is a Board member of the National Association of Evangelicals and International Students, Inc.

Ivan Marti
Rev. Ivan Marti was born in Puerto Rico and, in September 2018, he became the Assistant Vice-President for Church Multiplication and Leadership Development of The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). His service with The Alliance includes over 25 years of licensed ministry. He has served as bi-vocational church planting pastor, lead pastor, district church planting director, DEXCOM and Board of Directors of the C&MA. He also worked for more than 30 years in engineering, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Ivan is a graduate of Alliance Theological Seminary and has a B.S.E.E. from the University of Puerto Rico. Currently he lives in Colorado Springs, with his wife, Lizzette Medina, and they are the proud parents of three boys and grandparents of another two.
