Ask Bucknell University admissions officers questions about what it takes to get admitted to Bucknell, their application process, academics, and more.

Bucknell has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are missing out on the opportunity to learn about the college first hand from admissions staff on campus. Candace, Kristin, Brandon, and Carolyn will start the session with an in-depth overview of Bucknell, covering topics ranging from admissions to academics to campus life. In the second half of the session, they'll open the floor to an audience Q&A session and answer your questions about Bucknell admissions, life on campus, and more.

Candace Leake, Assistant Director

After completing her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University in 2003, Candace Leake spent five years working in television and film production, casting, and then photography before settling into a career in higher education in 2008. Candace previously served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD, as an academic advisor at The George Washington University, and she is currently Assistant Director of Admissions at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. Her passion for helping and advising college students has led her to complete a Master’s of Science in Higher Education Administration and Leadership at Drexel University and she is currently in the dissertation writing stage for her Doctorate of Education degree at The George Washington University. A native of Baltimore, Candace is the admissions territory manager for all of Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. Additional responsibilities include managing counselor relations, the Bridges to Bucknell Counselor Visitation program, and the Charles T. Bauer Scholarship.


Kristin Morrow, Assistant Director

Kristin Morrow, Assistant Director of Admissions at Bucknell University. I have been with the University for 6 years, my husband is an alumnus and we got married on campus so Bucknell has been a part of my life for many years. My recruiting territory is primarily the MidWest which includes Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota,Nebraska, West Virginia and Southwestern PA. I manage BASE, our summer program on campus as well as the Arts Merit scholarship process. I have been involved in Admissions and Financial Aid work on and off since the 1980s.

Carolyn Campbell, Student '22

Hi everyone, my name is Carolyn Campbell and I am a rising junior from Buffalo, NY majoring in Psychology, Mathematics, and Women’s and Gender Studies. My pronouns are she/her/hers. Outside of working for the Office of Admissions, I am the leader of the LGBTQ+ affinity house on campus, I am a Presidential Fellow conducting research in the psychology department, I grade for the Math department, and I’m on the Reunion Ambassador staff, among other things.
