The Afghanistan Crisis - An update

CAFOD is combining efforts with the Disasters Emergency Committee to launch the DEC Afghanistan Crisis Appeal on Wednesday 15th December.

Join us online to hear the latest on the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan.

As winter approaches, the people of Afghanistan face extreme hunger and poverty. They are in urgent need of food, water and shelter.

We will hear from Christine Allen, Director of CAFOD, Janet Symes, Head of Region for Asia and the Middle East, and Rhea Tariq, Head of Humanitarian and Programme Support on how we are responding to the urgent humanitarian needs in Afghanistan.

We will come together to keep the people of Afghanistan in our prayers.
