Anant Yardi

President + Founder, Yardi

In 1982, Anant Yardi recognized the need for an integrated accounting and property management software for the residential marketplace. With his background and years of programming experience, he designed “Basic Property Management” which was created for the Apple II computer and was sold to the company's first customer, Sabaco Realtors.

Since then, Anant has directed the company through over 40 years of steady growth, remaining the president and sole owner as Yardi became a leader in real estate asset and property management solutions.

Today, Anant continues to serve as president of Yardi Systems, and his vision is the driving force behind the development of effective and innovative software solutions for global real estate portfolio management.

Harish Krishna

Global Head of WeWork Workplace

Harish is the global head of WeWork Workplace, a space management software to help employers reduce real estate cost, while empowering employees to more purposefully engage with the spaces they choose and create more meaningful physical connections. Harish has over 12 years of experience in leading cross functional teams that built and scaled consumer as well as enterprise grade scalable global products.

He is currently focused on building a SaaS business with the WeWork Workplace product to help companies be more successful by optimizing how people work together to create happier, safer, well-connected and more energizing work environments.

Ben Samuels

International Head of Revenue + Global Head of WeWork Workplace Sales

Ben Samuels is SVP, Head of Revenue, International and Global head of Workplace Sales at WeWork, the leading global flexible workspace provider. In his current role, Ben is responsible for overseeing all revenue products across International, managing the global Account Sales team, and spearheading WeWork's Workplace Sales and Go-To-Market global strategy. Before joining WeWork in 2017, Ben was a WeWork member where he launched and scaled a Fintech startup, and recognised the value of WeWork for both startups and larger companies to grow and thrive.

Prior to this, Ben was a Managing Director at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he managed the EMEA and Emerging Markets equity sales teams across Europe and the U.S. Ben also spent three years at Renaissance Capital as the global Head of Equities where he led the firm's expansion in emerging and frontier markets across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Ben grew up in Montreal and holds a BA honours degree from McGill University as well as an MBA degree from Columbia University in New York. Ben has lived in London for the last 16 years.

Melissa Hungerford

Group Director of Talent, Leadership + Learning, Currys

Melissa Hungerford is Group Director Talent, Leadership and Learning for Currys, a leading omnichannel retailer of technology products and services headquartered in the UK and a Non-Executive Board member for Ground Control, UK’s leading commercial landscaping and external solutions provider. Melissa brings 20+ years of experience leading talent agendas that help businesses compete and achieve sustainable growth. She has held senior leadership positions at world class companies across multiple industries, including The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola European Partners, Avon Products, Philips Electronics and Lighting, Bristol-Myers Squibb and The Home Depot.

Melissa has extensive international experience working across the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia with deep experience in emerging markets. She has a proven track record strengthening leadership capability and succession, creating an engaged, high-performance culture, building organization capability and effectiveness, and supporting large scale change initiatives in businesses undergoing a strategic transformation in a dynamic, competitive environment.

She has a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from Georgia State University and currently resides in London.

Ian Hogg

Co-Founder + Chairman, WorkTech Group

Ian is a very experienced retail operator having started and sold two successful businesses in the area. He has also served on the boards of two UK PLCs and has previously built and sold technology companies.

His role now involves advising customers on the implementation of advanced technologies to drive operational efficiency, support employees and better serve customers. Ian also helps his customers deal with the change management and personnel challenges related to technology implementations. Ian is also the host of the Workplace Wellbeing Podcast.
