Day 1 starts with a keynote address from Leigh Middleton, CEO of the National Youth Agency, followed by a panel discussion involving Paul Fenton and Abbee McLatchie on the youth work workforce.
Join Leigh as he sets out the NYA's ten-year strategy to shape the future for youth work and services for young people. Paul and Abbee follow this to discuss how the ongoing review of youth work curriculum and qualifications will affect professional qualified youth workers, trained youth support workers and skilled volunteers, and set out new routes into the profession and the skills for youth workers in the future.
