Samuli Salmela, DB Schenker – Global logistics customer service: GenAI from theory to practice

Samuli is the Head of Digital Transformation for the European region at DB Schenker and previously served as the CIO for DB Schenker Finland. At Schenker, he has, among other things, led a full transformation of customer service, including a European-wide implementation of generative AI-enabled automation that resulted in significant efficiency gains. At Digital Commerce Forum 2024, Samuli discussed generative AI on a practical level, sharing real-life use cases and busting some myths related to AI.
