Annie Flint became interested in tenement management when she had some interesting experiences during communal block repairs. She subsequently wrote "The Tenement Handbook" with her co-author John Gilbert. After many further adventures in all things tenemental, and when the Tenement Handbook became sadly dated, Annie and John set up the website www.underoneroof.scot that took the Handbook online. Under One Roof has been widely praised, even being mentioned favourably in the Scottish Parliament.

Ross is one of Scotland's leading property solicitors and is a partner with Coulters Property in Edinburgh. He is the author of many of the clauses used in the contracts for the sale and purchase of properties so if you've ever read your contract of sale for the flat you rent, there is a good chance you have read some of his words. Ross is also a regular speaker at law seminars and has chaired a number of Law Society Groups dealing with property law.

Andy Moseley is Senior Policy Officer with the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP). The partnership was established in 2010. It's aim is to bring as many privately-owned empty homes back into use as possible. It does this by encouraging local authorities to employ dedicated empty homes officers and working with them to develop empty homes strategies based on data analysis and local knowledge, supporting a network of empty homes practitioners in councils and other bodies, offering advice to individual owners, and developing and promoting empty homes policy and practice options.
Andy worked in policy and research for the Ministry of Justice until 2010 when he took voluntary redundancy and returned to University to take a masters in Creative Writing. He has written several stage plays which have been performed in the UK, USA and Australia. He joined SEHP in 2018.
