In a Federal Register notice of June 5, 2020 US Customs & Border Protection published proposed revisions to the Customs Broker Regulations (19 CFR Part 111).
If adopted the proposed changes will make major changes to how customs brokers are licensed and operate, including:
• Changing the licensing process and fees
• National permits and fees replacing district permits
• Revisions to responsible supervision and control
• New definitions
• Broker vetting of business entities
• Learn about the proposed changes and how they may affect customs brokers
