Bryan Shelly is the senior strategist for Talent & Education at Chmura Economics & Analytics. He has 20 years of experience applying quantitative methods and analytical decision-making to strengthen program efficacy. In his current role, Bryan advises K-12 school divisions, postsecondary institutions, and the private sector on the use of labor data to foster regional collaborations that strengthen economic ecosystems. He also works with Chmura’s product development team to position the JobsEQ software in the education market and with the marketing team to expand Chmura’s services into new verticals.
Prior to joining Chmura, Bryan was a top strategic analyst and advisor to senior leadership at Chesterfield County Public Schools (Virginia) and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District on measurement of academics, labor, human relations, and efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness. He designed and implemented first-ever organizational key performance metrics in both districts that converted high-level objectives into concrete direction. He has also been an assistant professor at Wake Forest University and a two-time fellow at Harvard University.
