Treye Green is a journalist, content strategist, and founder of the Black In Media community and newsletter. Treye has over 12 years of media experience, working as a writer, editor, and content strategist at outlets like OK! Magazine, BuzzFeed, the New York Post, and HuffPost.
Along with his media work, Treye enjoys covering topics like travel, style, and music on his lifestyle blog Treyematic.

Treye founded the Black In Media community and newsletter as a means to empower and uplift Black media professionals. Black In Media is dedicated to amplifying the stories of Black people working in the media industry and highlighting the content these creatives are creating each day to celebrate the beauty of the Black experience. Black In Media also hosts workshops, panels, networking events, and other educational programming designed to equip and encourage the next generation of media changemakers.

Taryn Finely

Taryn Finley is the lead Black Voices editor and culture reporter at HuffPost where she manages and produces content to inform, empower and amplify Black audiences and their stories. She is also the co-host of "And That's That!," HuffPost's premiere podcast covering Black news and culture. For the past decade, Taryn has created written, visual and audible works that resonates with the pulse of the culture and speaks to the multifaceted range of the Black experience. The Dayton, Ohio native has dedicated her career to conveying the truth through storytelling and giving a platform so that those who are most underrepresented can lift their voices. She's also contributed to the New York Times and has previously worked at The Root, Essence, NBC and Radio One.
