The design of an interface is often what most people think of when you try to describe what UX is, but the reality is usually not the case. UX and UI go hand in hand, and when done well, can provide the best overall user experience.
In this event we will be discussing the power of user interface design, the symbiosis of UX and UI, and why aesthetics is not everything.

Playful yet practical, this talk by UI designer and horror movie fanatic, Kate Brook-Hart, explores the characteristics of ego and empathy in successful user interface design and why harnessing these soft skills is just as important as mastering the physical tools of the trade.
