Dr. John Stumbo
President - The Alliance
Dr. John Stumbo is serving in his final year as president of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. He and his wife Joanna have been married for 42 years, have three grown children, and five grandchildren. A pastor and ultra-marathon runner, life suddenly changed for John in 2008 when a mysterious illness left him hospitalized for 77 days and unable to swallow for 18 months. After a true miracle occurred, John was able to reenter ministry. This story is chronicled in his book, An Honest Look at a Mysterious Journey. Dr. Stumbo has also authored other books including one on the churches of the New Testament: A Stained Beauty: Churches Ancient and Present. His newest book, Once upon a Time I was Young, is soon to be published in time for LIFE 2025 as John shares stories and devotional thoughts for youth.

Numerous changes were incorporated by the denomination during President Stumbo’s tenure. One of these was the relocation of the C&MA National Office from Colorado Springs to Reynoldsburg (Columbus), Ohio. Believing that the American church must reposition itself towards greater community engagement, the C&MA National Office has returned to the marketplace.

Dr. Stumbo is seeking to finish his tenure well and has given the Board of Directors a 23-item list of what he is working to complete in his final year. He’s confident that God is already preparing the next leader to take the “holy baton” that he’s been so honored to carry. Dr. Stumbo enjoys being active outdoors, especially if it includes his grandchildren. He is a board member of International Students, Inc. and the National Association of Evangelicals.

Charles Amoh
Director for Alliance Youth
Charles Amoh serves as the Director for Alliance Youth. He has his bachelor’s from University of Northwestern, St. Paul in Multi-Cultural Youth ministry and Missions. He has been serving in youth ministry for 19 years. Two of those years he served as the Coordinator for Envision Chicago. He is passionate about equipping youth workers in the local church, mentoring interns, leading missions teams and creating experiences that challenge our perspective of what authentic ministry. Charles regularly trains youth workers in how to increase their cultural competency and missional engagement.

Jon Mann
Young Adult Pastor - San Jose Chinese Alliance Church
Jon Mann is the college & young adult pastor at San Jose Christian Alliance Church and cares deeply about passing faith on from one generation to the next, particularly in the Chinese heritage church. In his free time, Jon co-hosts the Bamboo Pastors podcast, a podcast about English speaking ministry in the Chinese church.

Josiah Stumbo is a Young Adults Pastor at Grace Church in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Josiah and his wife Sarah met at Crown College in Minnesota and have been married for 13 years. They're proud parents of Silas (10), Jovie (6) and June (4). Josiah has been a pastor for 11 years and has a bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and a Master of Arts in Theology. Josiah is passionate about guiding people to embrace the Abundant Life that Jesus offers to everyone. For fun Josiah likes creative writing, competitive birdwatching, running, songwriting, and exploring nature.

Youth Pastor - Crossbridge Community Church. Swedesboro, NJ
Wil leads the worship and youth ministry at Crossbridge Community Church, in NJ. He believes that teens are the church today and wants to provide an environment for them to explore and grow their faith in Jesus. He is passionate about growing Crossbridge’s understanding of worship & music in our Sunday morning environment. His favorite things to do are: play music, make videos and learn any type of board game. He is married to Sharon and proud Dad to two amazing. Wil hosts his own podcast called “As We Go Podcast” and serves on the LIFE 2025 planning team.

Kim Garcia
Candidate Recruitment and Development Team - National Office
Kim Garcia is currently part of the Candidate Recruitment and Development team at the National Office. Kim grew up in the Vietnamese Alliance Church in Lancaster, PA where her parents settled as Vietnamese immigrants. While completing her biology degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, she confirmed her passion for discipleship and missions among young adults after starting small groups in her apartment and STM trips to Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. The confirmation led her to Alliance Theological Seminary where she completed her MDiv. in 2016. This is also where she met her now husband of 7 years, Pablo Garcia. She served her local Vietnamese Alliance church in Washington Heights, NY until 2020 and moved back to Lancaster to be closer to family. Kim and Pablo are now living in New Jersey with their 3 littles: Leilani(4), Judah(2) and Elena(4mo), where Pablo is a pastor at Princeton Alliance Church
