Join artist and educator Matt Hill for a retrospective look at his art project, "Night Paper." This project combined handmade paper fashions with long-exposure portraiture at night. The locations were nearly always public and the models wore only the paper fashions.
Matt will share the origin story, how difficult it was to begin the project, and what he had to learn to even begin the first session.
He will also share stories from the arc of the project, show results and how it all eventually led up to a live burlesque stage show that was photographed simultaneously.
You'll also hear more about how the one project launched opened the door for more things in Matt's life, and how in 2025 he will be revisiting it with fresh eyes, ideas and expanded goals for the second chapter of Night Paper.
Please note: there will be artful nudity in this program.
