ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
In 1822, Joseph Fourier showed that some functions could be written as an infinite sum of harmonics. Using this idea, a vast spectrum of mathematics was developed including the Fourier Transform.
Fourier analysis has been used in the Reliability Game for decades, using vibration analysis to predict and prevent catastrophic failures in rotating equipment.
Fourier analysis can also be used in Process Control Optimization. Cyclical process variability can be detected, measured, and traced back to its source.
This webinar will explain what a Power Spectrum is and how to interpret the results. We will demonstrate using the power spectrum in a real-life case study.
