The pandemic has propelled massive growth for e-commerce, and the Port of Baltimore is at the center of this growth. Companies have had challenges meeting customer demand and massive fulfillment centers have been proliferating around the Port of Baltimore and Tradepoint Atlantic. The shifting paradigm towards a reliance on e-commerce will have a major impact, including the thousands of jobs that support operations in and around Maryland’s Ports.
