Maximizing battery life: Advanced corrosion protection and surface treatment solutions for steel and aluminum components
About This Webinar
Enhancing the durability and performance of electric vehicle batteries requires advanced corrosion protection and surface treatment technologies. Steel and aluminum battery components, essential for EV safety and longevity, are particularly vulnerable to environmental and contact corrosion.
Our exclusive webinar explores innovative solutions that protect these materials, ensuring long-lasting, high-performance battery systems. Join industry experts Matthias Hoch and Brandon Lloyd as they delve into the latest advancements in surface finishing technologies. This session will cover optimizing corrosion protection, improving adhesion of coatings such as fire retardants, easy removal of such coatings from defected parts, and reducing the carbon footprint of manufacturing processes. The webinar will also discuss fastening different materials, offering practical strategies to prevent contact corrosion, and emphasizing the critical role of corrosion protection in EV battery production and assembly.
Our session will help you overcome the most pressing challenges in battery production.
Agenda:
• Optimized corrosion protection of steel battery housings
